Effective July 1, 2008 also adopted a new 403(b) Church Plan that allows for participant selection of investments. To facilitate this new opportunity, the MRFI contracted with Envoy Financial located in Colorado Springs, CO to administer the many details involving participant selection of investments.
The same investment choices are available to the participants who were already enrolled in the 401(a) Defined Contribution Plan. It will be necessary to administer the accounting of the two plans separately. However, ministers and church employees may do rollovers from IRAs, 403(b)s, and some other qualified plans into the new 403(b) plan.
Investment selections will be placed in no load mutual funds facilitated by Lincoln Financial and the accounting maintained by Envoy. You may explore the many details and opportunities by logging into the Envoy website.
